I was not a studious child and struggled to find my career path until I discovered Drafting and was introduced to Computer-Aided Design. I discovered a passion for software because of the endless possibilities of what you can do with it. That sparked a desire to learn new applications. I became interested in learning how they can benefit companies and how to leverage them to make a company more efficient, productive, and profitable.
2. And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile. (What do you do at 吃瓜头条?)
I am the Application Portfolio Manager here at 吃瓜头条 and am focused on helping and supporting employees with their application needs, researching applications that can assist with business initiatives, and working with vendors for our contract requirements.
3. And you may ask yourself, "Where does that highway go to?" (What are your hopes for your time at 吃瓜头条?)
I love unknown paths and am not sure exactly where my adventure with 吃瓜头条 will take me as I am still fairly new, but that is the thrill that drives me! I hope it leads me in a direction where I can continue to support the business and all the employees by making sure there are applications in place that make everyone’s jobs easier and helps the company run smoothly.
4. And you may say to yourself, "My God! What have I done?" (Why is 吃瓜头条 a great home for you?)
Joining 吃瓜头条 couldn’t have come at a better time in my life. I was at the point where I really wanted to find a company to work for where I felt like part of a team and what I did daily aided in a cause or had a larger benefit outside of the company. Having previously worked in the automotive industry, you tend to feel like a “number” working in a silo, and you never truly feel like what you contribute has a positive impact. At 吃瓜头条, everyone is respected for their expertise, has a voice, and everyone contributes to the same end goal…helping 吃瓜头条 support companies in learning about climate change and Carbon management!
5. And you may find yourself in another part of the world... (Tell us about your life/hobbies away from work?)
Outside of work, I really enjoy taking day or weekend trips exploring small towns that I haven’t been to, visiting the Great Lakes, and hiking trails (my favorites are in Ohio!). I like to volunteer, fundraise, and do charity work for several causes including suicide prevention, animal welfare, and food insecurity, just to name a few. In my down time, I also enjoy going to MLB games, watching tv and movies, reading, and spending time with my husband and rescued cats.
